Most pension schemes run by SME’s are ‘insured.’ This means that you pass over the premiums to an insurance company who allocate the funds and apply investments.

Whilst this relationship should be smooth and trouble-free, our experience is that it rarely is. Both employers and insurers make mistakes which - with no audit or cross-reference - often goes unnoticed for a considerable time.
